Managing your account
Your profile page is the hub for personal settings, AI preferences, usage analytics, billing, and linked accounts. Access it from the sidebar.
Profile
The Profile tab shows your personal information — name, email, avatar, and plan. You can edit your name and upload a new avatar at any time. If you signed in with Google or LinkedIn, you can link or unlink those accounts from here.
Preferences
The Preferences tab controls how Thoth generates content for you:
Post language
The language your posts are written in. Supports English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Italian.
AI model
Your default model for generation. Premium models (Claude Sonnet, GPT-4o) are available on paid plans.
LLM preflight
An extra analysis pass before generation that improves output quality. Available on Start plans and above.
Web search
Lets the AI search the web during generation for up-to-date data and references. Available on Grow plans and above.
Main topic
Your primary industry topic. Drives your dashboard content and news feed.
Preferred topics
Up to 3 additional topics of interest. Used to personalise idea suggestions.
Post signature
An optional footer appended to every generated post — a tagline, CTA, or signature (max 200 characters).
News language
Choose English or French for your curated news feed.
Usage
The Usage tab gives you a clear picture of your activity:
- Monthly quotas — two radial gauges showing how many posts and ideas/takes/bridges you have used this period, with a reset date countdown
- Usage trend — a 6-month area chart showing posts, ideas, and sharp takes over time
- Feature adoption — a radar chart showing your activity across all six features (write, news, ideas, sharp takes, bridges, templates)
- All-time summary — total counts for every content type you have generated or saved
If you hit your monthly limit, an upgrade prompt appears with a link to the plans page.
Billing
The Billing tab is visible if you have an active subscription. It shows your current plan, renewal date, payment method, and a full invoice history with downloadable PDFs. You can change your plan or manage your subscription directly from here.
For more details on plan differences, see the plans and billing guide.
Privacy and data export
Under Settings > Privacy in the sidebar, you can review your privacy policy acceptance, toggle LinkedIn data consent, and export all your data as a JSON file. The export includes every post, idea, saved article, and template associated with your account.
